PAROC Hvac Section AluCoat T is a concentric, dimensionally accurate rockwool pipe wrap laminated with a mesh-reinforced aluminum foil, self-adhesive overlap, slotted on one side.
Since 30.06.2022, further insulation with the Paroc shell can be carried out without any problems after bulkheading with a shell from most other bulkhead manufacturers; the new test certificate P-3124.165.14-MPA BS makes this possible. Subsequent further insulation with the other manufacturer's products is no longer necessary according to this test certificate.
It is important to note that all penetration seals produced in accordance with Paroc test certificate P-3124.165.14-MPA BS must be marked with the Paroc identification plate.

The temperature on the aluminum side should not exceed 80°C. (This is because of the glue we use to bond the aluminum).
PAROC rock wool products are resistant to high temperatures. The binder evaporates when heated above 200°C. Insulation properties will remain unchanged, but compressibility will be reduced. The melting point of rock wool is above 1000°C.
